The Mexico and Wild West cabin would have been more ideal.. since they were much larger. So I would recommend those rooms for any couples or parents with children.

Cute little cabins! We stayed in the Library which was a bit small for two people.. It was very crowded with a lot of books every where which made it hard to find space to unpack. There were A LOT of spiders in the cabin. But they're harmless :)

The cabins are right across the street from the lake, but they do have a hot tub on the property (which was very nice since it was cold when we visited!)

I only tried the grill, where I had a salad. It was overpriced, the food was half off (badly welted, not worth the $12) and the service was snarky. Not recommended.

We stayed for three nights on the long weekend in the bunk House. It is open concept so don't expect privacy. We went on a family trip so it worked well. The site is right across from Gates Lake which is equipped with private dock. Dock could use a small ladder to get in and out but minor detail. . Washrooms are kept clean but at times there was a lineup as there's only two washrooms and two showers. All in all a very peaceful and fun trip. Sharon has done a lot to the property and it's very friendly and welcoming.

The cabins don't have bathrooms, but the bathrooms are kept VERY clean and warm! And are only a 5 second walk.

We stayed at the campsite area and it was amazing staff are super friendly and they had showers and washrooms , the whole campsite was clean and well organized. Washrooms were very clean considering the amount of people camping. A top recommendation!

Really nice camp ground. Super friendly staff and facilities are great! Location is also great, away from everything and 30sec walk to the lake.

This is a great little getaway for families or couples, as long as you don't mind the rustic/aged cabins. We paid $120/night for the Library.. which seemed a quite expensive for such a small cabin/old during the off season... but it was worth it for us since we were the only ones there at the time and are dogs were able to run around freely. So it really just depends what you are looking for.
